Teen Classroom Driver's Education
Green Light Driving School LLC, provides driver education programs approved by Department of Education to all county schools, private schools, home school, and out-of-school youths. Green Light Driving School LLC includes all required course content and is licensed and approved by DMV. This course provides research-based information to help you understand the knowledge and skills necessary to become a safe and confident driver.

Green Light Driving School offers a convenient location, comfortable classroom space, class discussion, hands-on car maintenance demonstrations, drunk goggle simulations, and relevant educational videos.

Program Specifics:
This program presents 36 50-minute classroom periods (30 hours total), including components about reading street signs, alcohol safety, drug abuse awareness, aggressive driving, distracted driving, right of way concepts, pedestrian and bicycle safety, handicapped parking, fuel-efficient driving practices, motorcycle awareness, highway and city driving techniques and organ and tissue donation awareness.

How to Register/Reserve a Seat:
1. Print and fill out the "Teen Classroom Form"
​2. Send/drop off the form AND a check to 1924 Arlington Blvd, Suite A, Charlottesville, VA 22903
3. You will be notified via text message when both the form and check have been processed.
 
Cost:
$210 check only (made payable to Green Light Driving School)

Dates and Time:  Various classes throughout the year. Class times for the upcoming session can be seen on the calendar.

Note: You will receive a driver education completion certificate when you successfully complete the driver education program. The driver education certificate of completion is considered part of the driver's license application. A copy of your certificate will be sent by your school instructor to DMV for issuance of a permanent driver's license.
